6-MONTH MANUFACTURING WARRANTY
Mongrel Boots represent the best of Australian authenticity, having been born and bred down under for more than 90 years. To this day, our boots are designed and manufactured in Australia using state-of-the-art technologies and premium materials to deliver safety, comfort and quality of the highest standard.
We offer a 6-month manufacturer’s warranty on our boots, commencing from the date of purchase. This provides our customers with peace of mind that your Mongrel Boots are protected against material and/or manufacturing faults.
If, in the opinion of Victor Footwear Pty Ltd, the boots have been misused or subjected to excessive wear and tear, the warranty will be void. Without limitation, this includes exposure to lime, chemicals, excessive water, or force, as well as cuts and burns. If the boots have been purchased for a purpose for which they are not suitable, or if they were not fitted correctly at the time of purchase, they will not be covered by our 6-month warranty.
For eligible warranty claims, the boots must be returned – at the customer’s cost – to the retailer from where they were purchased, along with proof of purchase. The retailer will return them to [company name] where they will be inspected by an authorised representative. If found to be defective, [company name] will offer a credit or a replacement pair. Mongrel Boots are sold with guarantees that cannot be excluded under UK Consumer Law. Consumers are entitled to receive a refund or a replacement in the event of a major failure as well as compensation for other reasonably foreseeable losses or damages. Consumers are also entitled to have their Mongrel Boots replaced or repaired if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure is not considered a major failure.
Boot care tips
- Be sure to have your Mongrel Boots fitted properly prior to purchase.
- Select the right Mongrel Boots product to suit the purpose or your work environment.
- Store your Mongrel Boots in an appropriate environment to keep them in optimal condition for as long as possible. Polyurethane can deteriorate in warm, moist and humid environments. If you need to store your boots for a longer period of time, an air-conditioned environment. Failure to follow these recommendations can result in your boots deteriorating a lot more rapidly.
- If your Mongrels become wet, dry them at room temperature so they will last longer. Avoid drying your boots in front of a fireplace or by using another direct heat source.
- For suede and nubuck leather boots, we recommend using a protector to enhance water and oil resistance.
