Mongrel Boots combine more than 90 years of know-how with the latest tech to build work boots that have been worn by generations of Australians. Our boots are known not just for their quality, but for their comfort and safety.

OUR BOOTMAKING PROCESS
Since the day Stanley Cloros’s career as a bootmaker kicked off in 1930, the thrill has never faded for us at Mongrel Boots.
Every boot is hand-cut and stitched by a dedicated bootmaker and meticulously crafted with premium materials. Then the upper is wrapped around a ‘last’ (a foot-shaped mould) to make sure its shape and fit perfectly match the design.
Next, an eagle-eyed Mongrel scrutinises every stitch, sole and zipper, all the materials and even the laces. Only perfection is acceptable.
Finally, every pair of boots is thoughtfully packaged in its box, along with our six-month manufacturer’s warranty and detailed boot care tags.
DESMA
Mongrel Boots all feature comfortable, hard-wearing TPU/PU soles. We use state-of-the-art Desma direct injection moulding machines to craft precision components.

Even after more than nine decades, we’re still learning and adapting.
